Great Heights Academy fosters a caring and creative learning environment dedicated to changing the lives of every student that walks through our door. We provide an education system set up like no other. With our focus on each child’s individual strengths and weaknesses in mind, no two children are taught the same way. 

 

Our school exposes students to age-appropriate class activities, with a modified curriculum allowing children to work hands-on while encouraging practical, life, and social skills. With the cooperation of our teachers, parents, therapists and staff we are able to work in harmony to get each student the results we set out for. 

 

The school provides services to children with a variety of intellectual and developmental disabilities that may include, but are not limited to Intellectual Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger’s, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other conditions associated with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Currently our school is home to children from Kindergarten through 12th grade and young adults.

To provide a creative yet, challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for the success of our children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With the combined efforts of the students, teachers, parents, and staff we can work together to create an academic, physical, emotional, social, and safe environment for our students.
